Au revoir, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye
So I’ve been spending the day packing and making lists. And downloading music. Here’s a tiny excerpt from that endless and very random list of music:
Fireflies by Owl City
Don’t stay by Laura Izibor
If a song could get me you by Marit Larsen
Dry grass and shadows by Alela Diane
Crack the shutters by Snow Patrol
Summer time by Josh Rouse
Omaha by Counting Crows
Also, the latest Hannah Montana album (thanks to this Flickr post by Rachel), and the new Daughtry album Leave this town which is not as amazing as their first one at all. AND that Eric Church album, Carolina. If you’re into country music – which I am thanks to my year in KY, heh – IT’S THE BEST. And I still can’t believe that they carried it at the German Amazon! I mean, why would they? Since when do people listen to country over here? But alas, I am glad.
ETA: Kathleen Edwards! Wow! I never knew of her before but I stumbled across her song Old time sake which I really liked but – her albums! Her music probably isn’t for everyone but I definitely found a new favorite. Road trip music? CHECK.

I’ll see if I can manage to find an internet café somewhere during our vacation but it’s highly unlikely. Enjoy the first week of my 365days project on Flickr while I’m gone. It’s been fun, and I’ll continue to do it on the island and upload everything once I’m back.
I’ll see you in two weeks! I love you guys. Hugs, hugs all around.
